Jessica Simpson makes a welcome return to the music world with her first single in seventeen years Use My Heart Against Me. The track is taken from Part 1 of the A Public Affair hitmaker’s new EP series Nashville Canyon with the first arriving on March 21 and the second due before Summer.

Jessica shares “I’ve lived through the hardest parts of life, and music is what has brought me back. Nashville Canyon is for anyone who’s ever been told who they are or how they should live their life. It’s about finding your true voice and the courage to be exactly who you are.”

The star continues: “Music makes you un-become to become, and through this process my soul has been pulled to the very place it belongs. This music is mine to share, and it’s not just about me—it’s about everyone who’s ever felt lost or overlooked. I want to remind them that they’re not alone.”

The track is a departure from Jessica’s pop-flavoured music, with the star hitting the studio in Nashville with Fancy Hagood, Natalie Hemby, Lucie Silvas and Trent Dabbs for the new country material.

We’re delighted to have Jessica back with brand new music. Are you happy to see the Irresistible musician back with new material? Let us know at Culture Fix on XBlue SkyYouTubeTikTokInstagramSpotify and Threads.
