98° delighted fans with the announcement of their new album Full Circle, a fusion of original new tracks – including powerhouse lead single Got U – and revised versions of beloved favourites from the band. Editor Andrew was delighted to be joined by Jeff Timmons, Justin Jeffre, Nick Lachey, and Drew Lachey to talk about the new album, new single, and the legacy of 98°.
The pop quartet shared how they managed to embrace the best of both worlds—staying true to their signature harmonies while weaving in fresh influences—and delved into why they sound better now than ever before. The group also discussed how they wanted the sound of the new material to feel like classic 98°, recruiting many from the same creative team that cultivated a number of their hits.
Nick, Drew, Jeff, and Justin delved into the challenges of breathing new life into fan favourites—no small task—as well as exploring which songs they are most excited for fans to hear when Full Circle arrives on 9th May. The group also discussed why it was important for 98° to champion the return of physical formats like vinyl and CDs.
