French born Australian raised rising talent Flo Chase debuts his new track Get Out, a breezy slow burning pop anthem that showcases Flo’s charisma and musicality. Channelling classic pop-reggae vibes, Get Out marks that the first of the singer-songwriter’s releases for 2025 and was recorded and produced by Sean P. Jones and Jake Sondy in Los Angeles.
On his new music, Flo tells us: “I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited about new music in the past. Growing up in ‘New-Caledonia’, being a small island in the South Pacific highly influenced by reggae and its culture; it’s been a while since I’ve been wanting to make a pop reggae record as it’s always been my favorite style of music to perform live.”
The breezy reggae sound crafted by Flo is channelled in the accompanying music video for the track, directed by Joe Katches, which further asserts its feeling of uplifting escapism. The musician shares: “The inspiration for this track really came from the emotional rollercoaster I was on after a breakup. It’s a weird place to be in, where you’re simultaneously grieving the loss of something, but also cherishing the memories that were built during that time. Writing it allowed me to process everything—the pain, the lessons, and the moments of joy that still live on in my mind. I think we all have those relationships where, even though things end, there’s something beautiful in the memories that will always stay with us.”
Flo continues: “The song came from that mix of emotions—those bittersweet memories that stick with you even after things end. It wasn’t about staying stuck in the past, but rather, trying to understand how those moments shaped me and what I learned from it all. It’s a way of honoring the good parts, even if it didn’t work out in the end.” Undoubtedly a message that will resonate with listeners of the track.
