2021 saw The Jonas Brothers and Marshmello release the impeccable Leave Before You Love Me, a slow-burning hit across the globe. It therefore makes perfect sense that Nick, Joe and Kevin would once again join forces with the masked producer, this time for new track Slow Motion.
Slow Motion sings of taking things slowly in a relationship, enjoying the special moments in an unhurried fashion. There’s a smooth and relaxed yet upbeat melody that shines throughout the track from producers Marshmello, Digital Farm Animals, Earwulf and Connor McDonough. On Joe’s verse, the star croons: “She don’t need a guy to buy a bottle / Just someone to spend a little time / Baby, I can promise I’ll still be here by tomorrow / But I can’t give you all of me tonight.”
The pop trio initially announced the track when performing as part of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, whilst sharing their continued touring plans for 2025. The musical siblings are also teasing an additional project, hinted at by a countdown on their website (which as of 18/01 sits at 26 days), with speculation this may be a new album from the stars.
