Erika Vikman delivers pure hedonistic pop ecstasy with her Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2025 (UMK) entry Ich Komme. A tribute to succumbing to life’s sensual pleasures, Erika delivers euphoric europop energy on the anthemic modern disco classic written and produced by ROOS+BERG.
Ich Komme follows the pattern of a steamy encounter in its musicality – including a build to a sudden climax. UMK share: “ICH KOMME feels like a piece of art that takes Erika Vikman to a new level. The song combines traditional Finnish disco with a remarkable composition and lyrics, wrapping it up with the rave aesthetic of electronic music. The song is original and so approachable that the lyrics of the chorus will surely catch you at the first listening. The climax, pun intended, of the song is one of the most exciting in UMK’s history.”
The themes of sexual liberation are also channelled into the eye-catching video for the track which sees Erika and dancers perform in a disc shaped platform filled with honey. Erika is every bit the star in the video, selling the creative vision with charisma and professionalism. The star adds: “In this song, you take control. Everything related to your sexuality is in your own hands. Pleasure should not be taboo.”
The number follows Erika’s fan favourite UMK entry Cicciolina from 2020 – a robbed classic if we do say so ourselves. Erika has been quick to build up a massive global following since debuting, performing as the UMK 2024 interval act alongside Finnish pop hero Käärijä on the track Ruoska. Erika released her debut album in 2021, which was a #1 in her home nation.
You can stream Ich Komme now (and we recommend that you do). Erika will before the track at UMK on Saturday 8th of February.
