Celebrity Big Brother 2025: The Stars That Should Enter the House

Earlier this year, we released our Celebrity Big Brother Wish-list: 12 Stars We Would Love To See Enter The House, and clearly, the producers of Celebrity Big Brother were listening. Our suggestion for Ibiza Weekender’s David Potts to enter the house was evidently a good one, as the star ended up winning the ITV1 series in March, beating Strictly Come Dancing’s Nikita Kuzmin to the crown. We predicted David would create potential meme-worthy moments that could rival the great Gemma Collins, and you only have to watch him dressed as a horse and sucking on a carrot to know we were not wrong.

After Ali Bromley’s incredible victory in the Big Brother final, we are immediately looking ahead to the next celebrity series early next year. Here is our latest list of recommendations for the Celebrity Big Brother 2025 casting, which would undoubtedly result in more unmissable TV moments.

1. Tom Daley: Olympic champion and LGBTQ+ activist

As a housemate, we could expect Tom to discuss his work as an activist for LGBTQ+ rights, as well as an inevitable knitting task. Having retired from an incredible diving career at the Paris Olympics, could 2025 be the year that Tom dives into a new venture and enters the Celebrity Big Brother house?

2. Sonja Morgan: Real Housewives of New York

Many viewers of Celebrity Big Brother UK may not be aware of Sonja, but after a stay in the house, they might struggle to forget her. Hilarious, flirty, outspoken, and full of stories about her unbelievable dalliances with royalty and A-list celebrities, Sonja would be a sure-fire hit with viewers, and we would be thrilled to see her enter the house next year!

3. Brian McFadden: Westlife/Boyzlife singer

It still amazes us how Brian has managed to escape a mainstream reality TV stint in his career, and so we are convinced now is the right time. Brian had a successful career as part of Westlife (and now Boyzlife with Keith Duffy) and as a solo artist, as well as well-documented marriages to Kerry Katona and Delta Goodrem. We are sure McFadden would bring a combination of Irish charm, pranks, and hilarious antics to the house.

4. Rustie Lee: TV chef

If the Celebrity Big Brother producers are listening, this one has to happen! The 75-year-old British-Jamaican chef is unmissable TV whenever she is featured on This Morning, her own cookery shows, and during a hilarious stint on Celebrity Super Spa! Lee seems genuinely lovable, wise, and, being so well-travelled, Rustie would inevitably make a legendary housemate.

5. Sam Ryder: Eurovision saviour

Having placed second to Kalush Orchestra in Eurovision 2022, Sam will forever be considered a national treasure and Eurovision hero! Having won legions of fans across Europe, Ryder built on his Eurovision success with a number one album There’s Nothing But Space, Man!, and we would love to see more of him. Humble as well as hilarious, we are sure the 35-year-old would be a very popular addition to the house.

6. Ruth Langsford: TV presenter

Tabloid-favourite Ruth has had a rollercoaster few years but has remained a staple of British daytime TV throughout. One of the original Loose Women, Langsford would be able to moderate craziness in the house as well as open up about headlines such as her departure from This Morning and separation from husband Eamonn. Could this be Langsford’s time to shine and surpass the CBB success of former colleague Fern Britton?

7. Gareth Gates: Pop Idol star

Unbelievably, it has been 22 years since Gareth stole our hearts as runner-up to Will Young on Pop Idol. Since then, Gates has sold over three million records and achieved great success as a theatre star, but he has also managed to avoid the main reality TV stage. Now 40 years old, Celebrity Big Brother could be the perfect re-launch opportunity for Gareth, and hopefully, he could even discuss his brief romance with former CBB winner Katie Price.

8. Chloe Burrows: Social media influencer

Having first found success on Love Island in 2021, Chloe’s unfiltered attitude and outspoken nature have meant she has managed to secure a successful career following the show. Now a successful podcaster, Burrows would bring a direct, no-nonsense nature to the house, which may well prove divisive among other housemates and create unmissable drama.

9. Baga Chipz: Drag Queen, runner-up on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 1

Similar to Chloe, putting Baga in the CBB house would definitely add a bit of spice. Not only would Baga bring the hilarious one-liners and antics she is known for, but she also knows how to make great TV and would ensure the series is anything but boring. Baga doesn’t take any prisoners, and her sharp tongue could easily take down an A-lister or two on her way to winning the show!

10. Dawn Ward: Real Housewives of Cheshire

While fellow Real Housewife of Cheshire Lauren Simon was a good housemate, we think the producers missed a trick and should have gone for Dawn instead! You only have to watch any of the first series of Cheshire to know that Dawn was the top dog of the show, and anyone brave enough to take her on felt her wrath. Glamorous, outspoken, opinionated, and well known to ITV, Dawn is an obvious choice, and producers would not regret this one!

11. Ian Wright: Football legend & pundit

The 61-year-old Wright is known not only for football success but also as a successful TV presenter and pundit. Much loved by fans, Wright would be a great sport during tasks and inevitably create hilarious antics within the house.

12. Paloma Faith: Singer & author

We have been huge fans of Paloma since her debut with Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?, and the star has recently made a hugely successful venture as the author of the feminist-inspired book MILF. As well as possessing an incredible voice, Faith is an incredibly passionate speaker and advocate of women’s rights—not to mention absolutely hilarious—all of which would make her an incredible housemate!

We are so excited for the next series of Celebrity Big Brother already and hopefully have predicted next year’s winner as well! Undoubtedly, any of these names would create unmissable TV and another unforgettable series of the nation’s favourite reality show.
