Loreen continues the journey to her as yet unannounced new studio album with Warning Signs, a transcendent dance number that draws the star’s Arabic heritage, combining this with ethereal dance beats.
Produced by Jon Shave, who co-writes with Corey Sanders and Ina Wroldsen, the number sees Loreen sing: “I’m wide awake, and I can’t believe your body’s / Right next to me, I’m ignorin’ all the warnin’ / Signs, and I think I’m in trouble, but I want it, I’m / Ignorin’ all the warnin’ signs…” conjuring up a sense of mystery and cool. The number is a short (2:11!) yet triumphant new single for the Eurovision queen.
The number was put against fellow new track Gravity with fans voting on what they would like to hear first. Hopefully Gravity will be following shortly as well as Loreen’s desperately anticipated new album.
