We adored Alex Sampson’s debut EP Blurry Vision earlier this year, now the Canadian singer-songwriter meets musical heartthrob delivers its follow-up Hopeless Romantic. The EP brings together Alex’s previous singles If You Were My Girl, Pretty Baby and Wallflower which see the star tap into a more lovestruck and romantic side.
Alex shared with fans: “My Sophomore EP ‘Hopeless Romantic’ is officially YOURS. It’s out of my phone and into your ears. I had the most amazing time writing this project. While making it I wanted it to feel like it had a real beginning and end. Like opening a book and closing it once you’ve finished reading. I adore how it turned out and I hope you do too. Please listen in order for the best experience.”
Alex worked worked with John Nathaniel on the project, with the star sharing the EP was crafted over twelve days straight – the pair working ten hours a day to create the project.
