Annie’s discography is a flawless one – whether it be the irresistible pop of Chewing Gum or I Know UR Girlfriend Hates Me to the dark brooding electronic pop of her most recent studio album Dark Hearts. Now the Norwegian songstress returns with new track, The Sky is Blue, shining as a truly impressive new string to the star’s bow.
The track arrives alongside B-Side Himmelen Er Blå and an extended mix which showcases more of the nineties trance inspired flavours heard in the intoxicating electronic production. Annie’s vocals pack a dreamy ethereal magnetism as she glides atop the powerful club beats crafted by the musician’s regular collaborator Stefan Storm.
To make things even more exciting, Annie accompanies the release with a “12 picture disc. We’re delighted to have more music from Annie and hopeful a full album will be on the way soon.
