Our Editor Andrew was fortunate to catch up to Swedish pop icon Darin, fresh from the release of his latest single Moonlight. Darin releases the single shortly before his headline show at London’s Colours on June 4th where he is expected to perform it amongst current favourites Electric and Can’t Stay Away. Darin chatted about the new track, as well as his relationship with the UK in our interview.
Darin reflected on twenty years in the music industry, his recent success in Italy and the UK as well as his native Sweden, and navigating between recording in Swedish and English language with his releases. The Money For Nothing hitmaker also explored his creative process, the changing nature of the music industry, his relationship with his earlier songs, and answered whether he would enter the Melodifestivalen arena again.
Be sure to watch until the end to catch our Getting to Know Darin quickfire round.
