One Direction splitting has turned out to be a wonderful thing for music – turning one very pop sounding band into five eclectic solo artists. Harry has opted for anthemic pop-rock, Louis for dance music, Zayn for R&B/pop, Liam for ________, and Niall Horan for guitar-driven pop. The latter of these boys has delivered an immediate classic in the form of Slow Hands.
Slow Hands follows Niall’s debut single, This Town, and marks a noticeable change in sound from the ballad. Slow Hands is a country-tinged pop number that further certifies Niall as a viable and exciting solo musician.
