Drag Race UK Icon Choriza May Takes Us To A Fruity Paradise On New Single ‘Feeling Fruity’ With River Medway

Today, an abundance of music from the Ru girls flooded our basements. New albums from Sharon Needles and Trinity the Tuck emerged, whilst singles from Monét X Change and Miz Cracker have also dropped. However, it is the latest release from Drag Race UK sensation, Spanish superstar Choriza May that has floored us. The high camp anthem is dubbed Feeling Fruity and features a guest rap from Choriza’s season three co-star River Medway.

The dancepop gem sees Choriza sing ‘Fruitylicious / Taste my paradise / Everybody’s fruity / In a pineapple sunrise’ in the kitsch lyrics which centre on a joyous fruit themed paradise. The track is written by Kaity Rae, Eden Hunter, Choriza May and River Medway with the former pair producing the euphoric number.

The camp anthem is further enhanced with an animated video from Harry Johnston which pairs nineties video game nostalgia and Drag Race glam thanks to virtual cameos from Ella Vaday, Kitty Scott-Claus, Scarlet Harlett, and Vanity Milan.
