Joe Jonas and his funky DNCE bandmates are back with another riotous pop number. The new single dubbed Got Me Good follows previous singles Dancing Feet and Move, which the trio have dropped since their comeback this year.
Written by Connor McDonough, Joel Castillo, Nate Cyphert and Riley McDonough with production from Connor and Ryan Daly, Got Me Good is another infectious treat from DNCE. Conjuring up an early-noughties US pop nostalgia in its opening beats, Jonas’s charismatic vocal croons “But you left with the sun / On some kind of mission / I gave you a meal / You left me with dishes…” in the band’s expected tongue-in-cheek lyrics.
DNCE released their debut album back in 2014 featuring their global smash Cake By the Ocean. It is thought that they are taking a singles focussed approach to this new era with a number of tracks dropped through Republic Records.
