Tia Kofi returns with a collaboration with MRSHLL, titled Heart Beating, as the star continues to cement herself as one of the UK’s premiere pop talents.
Tia told Gay Times that the track is about the “rush you get when you feel an instant connection with someone, but remind yourself to let go of whatever doubts you may be feeling.” Backed with euphoric eighties flavoured production, Tia’s vocals soar whilst the fusion of her voice alongside, MRSHLL’s, K-Pop’s first openly gay artist, is stunning and brings the romantic elements of the narrative to life. The track is penned by Judy Kim, Marshall Bang and Simon Jones with production from Julian Wharton, Rudi Simon Hoppe and Simon Jones.
Heart Beating is set to join Tia’s previous single Get Better on the RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star’s upcoming sophomore EP. Tia’s debut EP, Part 1: The Damage, was an out and out triumph of pop genius thanks to the Little Boots, Gil Lewis and Tom Aspaul penned Outside In and a cover of iconic Celebrity Big Brother curiosity I Want It All (long live Kandy Floss).
