Joe Jonas side-project DNCE was put on pause after the singer reunited with his brothers for album Happiness Begins in 2019 and its subsequent world tour. Now Jonas reunites with drummer Jack Lawless and guitarist JinJoo Lee for the return of DNCE on brand new single Dancing Feet. DNCE join forces with Norwegian producer Kygo for the single which is a welcome return to form from Jonas and co.
“‘Cause these dancin’ feet don’t cry to the rhythm, they cry for you / And every Saturday night that you ain’t here, my tears are blue…” Jonas sings against silky contemporary disco production, heavy on bass and funky vocal effects. Dancing Feet is written by David Stewart, Jessica Agombar, Kygo and Rami Yacoub, with production from Kygo and Stewart. The official video for the project will drop on Monday.
Jonas and DNCE released one album in 2016 and it truly was a bop-laden affair with not a single skip on it. There is no concrete confirmation of Dancing Feet being part of a second album – but we have our fingers crossed.
