Interview: ‘Eurovision: Australia Decides’ Star Andrew Lambrou Talks ‘Electrify’, Secret Talents and Love for Eurovision

Eurovision: Australia Decides 2022 star Andrew Lambrou spoke to our Andrew about his upcoming appearance at the country’s national final. Set to perform on 26th February 2022, Andrew will be hoping to represent the country with his song Electrify. The song is a high-energy pop banger that will undoubtedly impress in the contest – even bringing some sultry Spanish language vibes into the track. It has a lavish European feel yet stays true to Andrew’s sound that you may be familiar with on songs such as Throne and Confidence.

It was great to chat to Andrew about what drew him to the contest, packing a high energy show into three minutes, and his love for Helena Paparizou’s My Number One. Andrew also delved into some surprising talents – life as a Guitar Hero expert and his love for the Marvel universe.
