HRVY Delivers an Emotive Pop Gem in New Song ‘Golden Hour’ Ahead of Upcoming EP

HRVY recently announced his first EP in four years Views from the 23rd Floor which arrives at the end of the month. The British pop talent previously gave us the first taste of the set, stripped back R&B-influenced ballad Talking to the Stars and now gives us another fresh teaser in the form of Golden Hour.

Golden Hour is penned by HRVY, Danny Shah, Sam Brennan and Tom Hollings, with production from Brennan and Hollings. The mellow pop number sees HRVY deliver a subtle emotive vocal which builds to a punchy chorus that brings some sharp synthy production into play. The Personal singer croons “We had our golden hour / Golden hour /
Like diamonds on your face / Watchin’ the sun go down on this hour…”
in the track’s lush romantic imagery.

The handsome singer shared more details about the upcoming EP: “I haven’t released an EP for over 4 years and I’m so ready for you to hear this new music. Over the last few years I’ve spent so much time in hotel rooms travelling the world and would always spend way to much time staring out the windows. The higher up you are the better the view and more perspective you have, and that’s a little bit like growing up I guess. Ill be 23 and I’m starting to understand what I want in life and how things kinda work (still learning lol) the older I’m getting the better perspective i have. so yeah there’s the little metaphor, anyway!”
