Janet Jackson’s new album and documentary are two of the most hyped music events of 2022. Whilst the album, Black Diamond, was announced two years ago and has yet to receive a concrete release date, the documentary Janet will be arriving imminently. Airing as a two-part special which premieres on January 28th on Lifetime and A&E networks simultaneously, Janet is set to lift the lid on numerous landmark events in the life and career of the iconic pop talent.
The documentary features contributions from Janet, Kathrine Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Samuel L. Jackson, Regina King, Q-Tip, René Elizondo Jr., Jermaine Dupri, Tyler Perry, Mariah Carey, Ciara, Randy, Tito and Rebbie Jackson, Missy Elliott, Paula Abdul and more make appearances. Let’s pray that the thinking man’s Jackson, La Toya also makes an appearance.
