The Swedish musician and Eurovision star Robin Bengtsson continues to move away from the slick electronic pop of his anthemic I Can’t Go On with the performer opting for a more stripped back singer-songwriter approach in recent years. His latest song in the latter genre is Rollercoaster a mellow nostalgic guitar-centric tune produced by BUSTGAARD. The track is written by Robin alongside Isak Hallén, Kamilla Bayrak, Martin Bustgaard and William Jerner.
Rollercoaster follows hot on the tails of Robin’s previous singles Brother That’s All Right and If I Was You which explore similar sonic territory to it. With more of a country sentiment to it, Robin sells the heartfelt romantic single with an impressive conviction.
Robin will also be gearing up for his Melodifestivalen return with entry Innocent Love which is penned by David Lindgren Zacharias, Victor Sjöström, Victor Crone, Viktor Broberg, and Sebastian Atas. We’ll be hearing more about that in 2022.
