“Love’s born tonight / Let the rhythm raise your rhythm raise your soul to life / Let’s dance tonight / With the freedom to electrify the world to light…” Keiynan Lonsdale sings in his lavish new contemporary dancefloor anthem Gods of the Disco. The feel-good ode to losing yourself to the power of the disco ball follows Keiynan’s 2020 album Rainbow Boy.
The Australian born talent writes the track with production from Louis Futon. Gods of the Disco captures the magic euphoria of the world of classic disco thanks to Keiynan’s seductive vocal, high-energy multi-instrumental production, and the lavish fusion of synths and strings. The concept further springs to life thanks to a vibrant music video directed by Chris Coats which captures the hedonistic excesses of pleasure associated with disco hotspots like Studio 54.
We are obsessed with Keiynan’s new disco persona and hope this is the start of countless bops from the handsome star. Also, take a moment to appreciate the stunning artwork which is channelling Ancient Egyptian glamour meets the world of sexually-charged nu-disco.
