Australian pop talent TIN returns after successful previous 2021 singles Firm and Weasel with his latest musical treat – the attitude filled Stung. The track, written by TIN, is produced by TIN’s husband, fellow queer rising talent Lostchild, who contributes a percussion heavy, electronic swagger to the track.
TIN shares: “Stung is about not being underestimated and not putting up with other people’s rubbish. I wrote it after a night out at a trashy club in Brisbane, having met so many gay men who were taking themselves way too seriously. I get exhausted by people who are arrogant with nothing to show and I wanted to write something a bit tongue in cheek about the experience.”
The Aiden Thomas directed video for the track sees TIN and fellow queens Polka Dot, Le Fil, Coco Couture and JVST TINA ending up in the wrong pub and subsequently taking on a batch of chavvy straight lads. It’s tongue-in-cheek camp excellence that perfectly fits the acerbic bite of TIN’s track.
