“Inject me, correct me, perfect me, you deserve it” Product sings on his latest single RETOUCH IT. Returning with his first single since Sophie tribute 4AM, Product shines on the sharp electronic banger delves into the world of artistry and the concept of image.
The Australian talent shares: “[RETOUCH IT] lyrically grapples and plays with perceptions of image, identity-crisis and the dichotomy of the public-facing artist persona, versus a more introverted and comfortable private self.” The production filled with sharp, bold synths, metallic vocals and distorted bass gives the sense of the dark spiral that can develop in the hopes of obsessing over perfection.
RETOUCH IT is written, recorded and produced solely by Product – shining as his first fully self-produced release. It also stands as Product’s first solo release in over a year.
