The Mamas Deliver Anthemic Joy on New Single ‘Sun Go Down’

The Mamas follow up their cover of classic sixties hit Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polkadot Bikini with a new original anthem, Sun Go Down. Their latest single is set to feature on their November 12th scheduled EP and sees them reunite with Move songwriters Melanie Wehbe, Patrik Jean and Herman Gardarvfe.

The Swedish pop talents share: “’Sun Go Down’ is a song about perseverance. Metaphorically, the love we receive, the hugs, the kisses, the opportunities to prevail; that’s the Sun! This summer we got to actually meet people and have a vacation but honestly, vacation isn’t a destination, it’s a state of mind. Through everything we’ve gone through given the last year, every peak and every valley, there have been gleams of sunshine and we’ve accomplished things that no thing could ever take away from us. We will never let the Sun go down, not on us! This song is representation of that.”

Sun Go Down is an optimistic treat that sees Ash, Dinah and LouLou get the chance to flaunt their impressive vocals and showcase an empowering message of joy. With gradually building production from Herman Gardarfve, this is a classic Mamas anthem that has us truly excited for their upcoming EP, We Won’t Let the Sun Go Down.
