Louisiana country talent Dylan Scott continues his run of wall to wall hits with his latest release New Truck. The single centres on moving on from heartbreak and trying to distance yourself from tough memories, as Dylan shares:
“The first time I heard ‘New Truck,’ it sounded different than anything else I was listening to. We’ve all been in a situation where you and your significant other have broken up, and it’s tough. Every time you get back in your truck, you go back to certain memories of them in there as well. So this song is saying, ‘Man, I need a new truck to quit thinking about her.’“
Dylan has already found great success with the track, hitting over 8.5 million streams to date, alongside a slick video (over 5.35 million views) – watch that below.
Earlier this year Dylan collaborated with DJ R3HAB on a remix of his song Nobody which originally appeared on his Nothing To Do Town EP.
