Swedish pop favourite Magnus Carlsson gears up to release his latest studio album with new single Lights. The track which follows Melodifestivalen talent Magnus’s collaboration with Eurovision royalty Helena Paparizou Day & Night, is produced by Mårten Eriksson.
Magnus co-writes with Mårten Eriksson and Lina Eriksson, singing the track’s hopeful lyrics against a dancefloor friendly backing, racked with powerful synths and electronic production. Magnus croons “Just shout it out and cue the lights / For the truth is hard and rare to find / Just shout it out and cue the lights / For this world belongs to you and me…” shimmering with a sense of optimism and positivity.
Magnus accompanied the release on Instagram with this comment “Lights” is three minutes of uptempo, energy and joy – so longing for you to hear it!”
