Thousands in Europe were charmed by Swedish pop star Efraim Leo after he delivered uplifting anthem Best Of Me during Melodifestivalen 2021. The track did well enough to make it through to the Andra Chansen round of the contest and cement Efraim as a pop talent to keep your eyes on. Efraim now follows up the track with a collaboration with Celina Sharma, the wonderful Somebody Else.
Opening with mellow guitar instrumentation, Efraim’s smooth vocals effortlessly glide into the fold before Celina adds some further emotive charm. Efraim noted: “‘Somebody Else’ is about the feelings and reflections you have around a first love, and how you regret afterwards that you did not keep in touch.” The track is written by Efraim with Etta Nordberg Zelmani, Jonathan Blom and Celina Sharma. It is produced by Mark West and Aaron Ferrucci.
Somebody Else is thought to be the first taste of a potential new EP from Efraim who impressed with his 2020 collection Timing.
