Australian Pop Legend Tina Arena Returns With Dramatic New Single ‘Church’

Australian pop legend Tina Arena has returned with a slice of new music, dramatic new single Church which precedes Tina’s new musical chapter. The song came about in October 2020 as Tina visited song-writing friends in Sweden and began numerous organic writing sessions in an old church.

Church is an elegant confessional single that begins with Tina and gentle piano, before building to a Bond theme inspired chorus with dramatic strings and anthemic production style. Tina sounds incredible as she channels the empowering lyrics about forgiveness and cathartic release.

The singer filmed the video in rural Victoria with Tina powerfully dancing against the backdrop of dusky desert land and a decaying old tree.

It is hoped that Church will be the first taste of a new studio album from the singer.
