Finnish pop talent Tomi Saario conjures up some classic romantic and cinematic glamour on his funky new single I Wanna Be Your James Dean which arrives this week.
The lyrics penned by Axel Ehnström and Tomi see the singer create some Hollywood nostalgia with lines such as “I wanna be your James Dean baby, Make you go crazy, Like they do on silver screens, Take you to my house in the hills, Give you cheap thrills, Love you like a movie scene.” Gustav Nystrom’s production has an elegance and suaveness to it, perfectly befitting of a song namechecking the handsome screen star of Giant and Rebel Without a Cause. You have to be quite a sophisticated, debonair gentleman to pull off name-checking a cinema legend like James Dean in your title, but we think Tomi does an impressive job.
