Måns Zelmerlöw was welcomed back to the Eurovision world as host of Swedish National Final Melodifestivalen last weekend. Måns took to the stage to present the grand final where he also performed his new single Come Over Love ahead of Tusse’s victory.
Come Over Love follows last month’s Circles and Squares which saw him collaborate with fellow Eurovision royalty Polina Gagarina. The singer co-writes the song with John Callum Stewart, Ryan McCullen and Sam Merrifield, with Sam and Moh Denebi on production duties. The Heroes hitmaker notes: ‘Come Over Love’ is a powerful song about feeling alone on the inside but having a hard, seemingly emotionless, exterior. You are bad at asking for help, but you do need it and you want it.”
The track lives in the world of anthemic pop ballads that Måns has become a master of over the years – racked with emotion and delivered with Måns’ expected professionalism. The singer’s last studio album was 2019’s Time – it is not yet known whether Come Over Love will feature on the singer’s upcoming studio album.
