San Marino’s Senhit’s #FreakyTripToRotterdam Continues With ‘Alcohol is Free’

Senhit’s wonderfully creative #FreakyTripToRotterdam continues with her version of Koza Mostra and Agathonas Iakovidis’s Greek Eurovision anthem Alcohol is Free from 2013.

Senhit’s version taps into Greek imagery in the video through gorgeous Greek-influenced costumery and dance moves. Of course the video also packs Senhit’s much-loved artistic flare, with the track like all of Senhit’s Eurovision covers so far, shining through its rich aesthetics that pay homage to the countries in question.

San Marinos 2021 Eurovision entrant notes: “I wanted to emphasizes the most combative soul of this piece, through an extraordinary make-up and clothes which recall the Greek culture. The video is divided into three frames: Luca Tommassini starts covering clothes and faces of mine and the two dancers with the colors of the Greek flag, and then moves first toward the dark, in tribute to French provocative elegance, with references to Guesch Patti’s “Etienne” video as well as Madonna’s “Human Nature”, to end up with the crazy rainbow of colors of the tribal chic.”

As part of Senhit’s Freaky Trip to Rotterdam she has delivered beautifully original versions of Waterloo, Congratulations, Amar Pelos Dois, Rise Like a Phoenix, Cheesecake and Everyway That I Can.
