Swedish pop talent LOVA follows her two EPs, Scripted Reality and A Gentleman’s Guide with her debut album Grown-ish. The nine song set features previous singles Lonely Ones, Black Converse, One Day Left, and Jealous of My Friends.
LOVA delivers a swaggering slice of noughties inspired pop-rock with tracks like Dance for the Hell of It – an unapologetic pop delight that sings about not fitting in, but losing it and dancing for the hell of it. Other gems include the savvy, self-aware Lame, the slick up-tempo delight One Day Left, and the dreamy escapist anthem Sleep Forever.
The singer notes: “All of the songs are creating the story, but the album is also what made the songs. I’m excited to be able to go back to it in ten years and reminisce how I felt during this time.”
