We’ve been eagerly awaiting a trailer for the much-praised Zaytoun to drop, fortunately Empire Magazine have posted it this morning. Zaytoun follows an Israeli fighter pilot who forms an unlikely bond with a young Palestinian boy that helps him escape the Palestinian militia.
Directed by newcomer, Eran Riklis, Zaytoun looks like a thought-provoking buddy movie, with spirited leading turns from Stephen Dorff and Abdallah El Akal.
Zaytoun receives its UK release on December 26th – so you’ll be torn over this or Parental Guidance. Bette or Stephen? It’s a tough choice.
