Amadeus Delivers Moody Swedish Pop on His Debut Single ‘Exhibition’

Swedish football talent Amadeus Sögaard, known for playing for club Brommapojkarna, has revealed an impressive new skill in his debut single. The twenty-two year old delivers a moody, R&B flavoured pop anthem with his debut single Exhibition.

Despite the musical talent running in his blood – Amadeus is the son of Eurovision and Swedish pop icon Carola – he has previously chosen to focus on his football career. The star told newspaper Expressen: “I wanted to focus on myself, create my own sound and platform. I have also chosen to continue to have football as my main focus and build something there. Now I feel ready, that I have come to a place purely musically where I can stand for what I write. That it’s me.”

Exhibition is written by Amadeus and produced by him also, alongside Mike Eriksson and Oliver Lundström. Although its powerful electronic R&B sounds may strike listeners as an introspective, the track presents Amadeus as a musical artist ready to be known around the world. He sings “This will be my exhibition…” against the slick electronic grooves, whilst his vocals feel unforced and charismatic.

Amadeus will also be the centre of documentary Amadeus – More Than a Son which can be seen on TV3, Viaplay and Viafree. Connect with Amadeus here.
