Kylie Minogue has had a record-breaking year becoming the first female artist to top the UK albums chart in five consecutive decades with her latest album Disco. Ensuring we end the year on a similarly positive note, Kylie has released a new mix of her track Real Groove which features Dua Lipa.
The pair performed the track on Dua’s Studio 2054 virtual concert and fans have been excited for a studio version for some time. The new mix of Real Groove is an improvement on the original album version (which never really struck us as single material personally – especially when Where Does the DJ Go? and Dance Floor Darling were right there), but would benefit from turning the volume up on Dua’s vocals slightly.
Kylie will also be streaming her virtual concert spectacular Infinite Disco again on New Year’s Eve, as well as performing on NBC’s New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Eve Live. The singer has also been rumoured to collaborate with fellow nu-disco saviour Jessie Ware in the New Year.
