Why Don’t We Release New Single ‘Slow Down’ Ahead of ‘The Good Times and The Bad Ones’ Album

We’ve been a bit obsessed with American boyband Why Don’t We’s fist-pumping pop track Fallin’ (Adrenaline) which hit #4 in the Scottish singles chart, showcasing that the boys are on the verge of big UK success. The boys release the third taster of upcoming album The Good Times and The Bad Ones, new single Slow Down.

Inspired by nineties/early-noughties guitar-pop, the track has a woozy vibe evocative of hazy Californian Summers. Crooning “Slow down I think that we just need to slow down, slow down, Turn around, Things were so simple way before now, ‘fore now” the track makes a case for relaxing and taking a step back from life’s stresses to enjoy the moment. The nostalgic influence of the track is furthered through the sampling The Smashing Pumpkins’ track 1979.

The track is joined by Fallin’ (Adrenaline) and Lotus Inn on the group’s second full length album which is due January 15th 2021. See the full tracklist below:
