Regulus Red Drops Lovestruck Synth-Anthem ‘Some Gravity’

Hot off the tails of his debut EP Red Prince of the Night, Regulus Red returns with a loved-up synthpop anthem called Some Gravity. An ode to his partner, Regulus tells us “Some Gravity talks about that feeling when you’re in love, where gravity leaves you and you’re suddenly soaring high above ground.”

Inspired by Nicolas Winding Refn’s seminal Drive soundtrack, something evidenct from the immaculate, dreamy synths that adorn the track’s production where Regulus’s voice soars across the moody electronic soundscape. The eighties vibes help capture the woozy feeling of being in love with their euphoric sonic highs channelling the excitement of romance.

Regulus notes: “I fell in love with Emanuele 2 years ago, surprisingly, on a London night out. I had been alone for a long time. We fell in love on the very first night and we have been together ever since. I really wanted to celebrate him and this relationship the way I know best, writing songs. “

The Italian-Welsh singer has gone on to impress with over 300,000 total Spotify streams and is beginning to build an impressive discography.
