We recently featured Neekoh’s fantastically atmospheric track Falling, and now the Finnish musical star returns with a collaboration featuring Indo-Kiwi star theajsound. The fusion of both performer’s vocals creates a gorgeous blend which guides us through the brooding yet fast-paced synth-filled track.
Neekoh notes: “When we got into the studio, MINEFIELD. was there waiting for us. It took us barely an hour to write the song and two to record and arrange it. It was magical and we knew we had to share that magic with you.”
AJ adds “We’ve been trying to write a song forever and when we finally did, it was instantaneous. We want our listeners to enjoy the song as much as we enjoyed creating it.”
With a synthesized 80s beat and beautifully atmospheric melody, MINEFIELD sees Neekoh and AJ sing about the tumultuous relationships of their pasts with lyrics such as “Love is a minefield, you stole my heartbeat, I cannot find it,” and “Terrified, by that look in your eyes, Your blinding light bringing me closer, RIP you got me hypnotised,” capturing the captivating power of a dangerous love.
