Another of the film industry’s casualties against COVID is the delaying of much-anticipated Halloween sequel, Halloween Kills. The project which reunites director David Gordon Green with a cast including Jamie Lee Curtis and Judy Greer, is now slated for a October 15th 2021 release. Our anticipation for the delayed product is only heightened by a fresh teaser trailer which you can watch above.
Picking up after the events of the 2018 Halloween sequel which brought Jamie Lee Curtis’s iconic heroine Laurie Strode back into the murderous saga of Michael Myers, Halloween Kills also sees the return of numerous other familiar faces. The character of Tommy Doyle (the child originally babysat by Laurie in the original 1978 Halloween – now in the form of Anthony Michael Hall) returns, as does RHOBH icon Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, Tommy’s childhood friend. Charles Cyphers also reprises his role as former Sheriff Leigh Brackett who played a pivotal role in Halloween and Halloween II.
A direct sequel, Halloween Ends, is scheduled to be released on October 14, 2022.
