The Drag Race brand is fast becoming something of an empire with several incarnations of the series (Regular, All Stars, Celebrity, etc.), international spin-offs (UK, Canada, Thailand), and a host of shows streaming on the WOW Presents app. Now (‘scripted?’) reality docuseries can be added to the list with RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue arriving. The series is set to give us a look behind the scenes of Ru’s Vegas show featuring much-loved Queens from the franchise.
The trailer for the upcoming VH1 series sees the Queens visiting casinos on the Las Vegas strip, Mother Ru arriving (in true Lisa Vanderpump fashion), and teases behind the scenes romance from Kameron Michaels and Asia O’Hara.
Yvie Oddly, Miss Vanjie, Naomi Smalls, and Derrick Barry are also set to feature in the series and can be spotted in the trailer above.
It’s not clear yet when this will available in the UK but we’d suspect this may arrive on BBC iPlayer like Canada’s Drag Race, The Vivienne Takes Hollywood and Michelle Visage’s How’s Your Head, Hun? It airs in the US on VH1 Friday 21st August at 8pm.
