We’ve been gushing about Tom Aspaul’s recent musical output for a while and we are now delighted that the rising pop talent’s debut album has now officially been announced. The album titled Black Country Disco is available to pre-order on Vinyl from Qrates using this link and will go into production once 200 copies have been ordered by September 1st.
Tom has currently released Close 2 Me, Tender, Traces, and W.M. with a 100% success rate. The album’s notes tell us: In an almost continuous mix – the album tells the story of a tumultuous 18 months – beginning with music industry frustrations, to the end of a five year relationship and ultimately, to leaving life in London behind after eleven years. Arriving back home in the Midlands and inspired to write, while listening to disco and 80s synthpop – ‘Black Country Disco’ was born. You can see the vinyl tracklist below:

On the album release Tom adds: “I cannot tell you how excited I am to finally realise this concept and release this project into the world! It’s been a real labour of love this last year and seeing it come to fruition has been a dream.
