Dannii Minogue Strips It Back With The Gorgeous ‘All I Wanna Do 2020’

She’s back! We are truly blessed by the return of Dannii Minogue to the music world. The iconique pop chanteuse delivers a gorgeous stripped back mix of her 1997 hit single All I Wanna Do – dubbed All I Wanna Do 2020.

Dannii doesn’t release music as frequently as we’d like (we light prayer candles every night for a Neon Nights Vol. 2), but when she does it never disappoints. The singer dropped club anthem Summer of Love back in 2015 and followed this with another jam, Holding On in 2017. The sublime pop banger Galaxy was released shortly after – a track which we still repeatedly spin to this day.

The 2020 mix of All I Wanna Do is a gorgeous showcase for Dannii’s vocals, floating gently above gorgeous guitar and keyboard work from Dorian West. This mix is produced by Ian Masterson, one of Dannii’s regular collaborators. The track isn’t far off the style of the gorgeous stripped back orchestral stylings of Kylie’s 2012 Abbey Road Sessions album.

All I Wanna Do originally featured on Dannii’s 1997 album Girl and was hit throughout Europe and Australia – it landed at #4 in the UK chart.
