Drag Sensation Willam Drops Britney Spears Inspired Anthem ‘Derrick’

Willam released her last album NOW That’s What I Call Drag Music Vol. 1 back in 2018 and it included the gorgeous titled anthems Unshart My Fart and Oral. One of the clear standouts from the set was Derrick – a …Baby One More Time spoof dedicated to Drag Race’s most beloved Britney impersonator Derrick Barry.

Timed beautifully with Derrick’s appearance on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 5, Willam has dropped the video for Derrick – featuring the aforementioned queen herself. Packed with iconique lines such as “Oh Derrick Barry how were you supposed to know, that no one died at Stonewall,” and “Derrick fuckin’ Barry, D-D-D-Derrick Barry,” that track is an instant Willam classic.

Praise should go to Derrick for getting involved in the fun and joining Willam in the Britney-filled video. Derrick is also no stranger to the music world – releasing the vastly underrated post-Drag Race single BOOMBOOM back in 2016.
