Things go from strength to strength for R&B icon and Real Housewives of Atlanta favourite Kandi Burruss after her well deserved win as The Night Angel on The Masked Singer USA. The singer makes the most of this added exposure with the release of her brand new single Used to Love Me which sees her team-up with Todrick Hall and Precious. The result is a flat out pop banger that we have on repeat.
Released through Kandi’s own label, Kandi Koated Entertainment, the track is produced by the former Xscape singer and Jay-O, Roderick Lawrence and co-produced By- M-Millz. The track veers slightly closer into the genres of electronic pop and dancepop which is a fantastic fit for Kandi showcasing her versatility as an artist. There are of course flavours of R&B, but this is an eclectic feast for the senses.
Kandi’s performances of Rise Up, Last Dance, and Million Reasons made her a firm fan favourite on her run of The Masked Singer. She has also been entertaining fans for countless seasons of Bravo’s flagship Real Housewives of Atlanta which has seen her drop solo hits such as Fly Above and Leave U.
