One thing that is certainly true of late, we’ve all surely been drinking a bit more than usual. Splitting the day into chunks makes things a little easier – and having a little alcoholic beverage in the evenings is one way to do that. Jameson Rodgers and Luke Combs have certainly encouraged this approach with their brand new single ‘Cold Beer Calling My Name’.
The newly released track was penned by Rodgers and Hunter Phelps, Brett Tyler, and Alysa Vanderheym and follows his previous singles Some Girls and Grew Up in the Country. Rodgers states: “It’s a fun, easy song, and I thought it’d be cool to have someone on it and at the time I was out with Luke Combs. I asked Luke if he’d like to sing on it – I know he’s a cold beer drinker like myself – and luckily it worked out and I’m excited for everybody to hear it.”
The track is a smooth, feel good country number and showcases a fun side to Rodgers. You can stream it above.
