Brad Paisley co-writes his new single No I in Beer with Kelly Lovelace and its an ode to socialising and cutting loose with a beer. Paisley croons: “We’re all in this together, /To me it’s all so clear, Drinkin’ oughta be a team effort, There is no ‘I’ in beer.” Blending his charismatic storytelling with percussion heavy production, the track is a welcome return for Paisley who prior to this hadn’t released any new music in 2020.
The country star last released album Love and War in 2017 featuring the singles Today, Last Time for Everything, and Heaven South. He has released standalone singles My Miracle and Alive Right Now in 2019.
Paisley noted “If we’ve ever felt unified as Americans, as citizens of the world, it’s in the fact that nobody loves what we’re going through, but everybody’s willing to do what we have to do. One of those things is, let’s be a team.” Hopefully the world maintains this attitude for as long as possible and many a beer can be enjoyed when the lockdown is over.
