Brett Eldredge ends his two year musical silence with three new tracks and the announcement of his fifth studio album Sunday Drive. Arriving mid-July, Eldredge has whet our appetites with Gabrielle, Crowd My Mind and Where the Heart Is.
Crowd My Mind is a sparse piano-ballad, whilst Where the Heart Is about relaxing and allowing yourself to find creativity naturally. Gabrielle, however, is the lead single of the upcoming album with Eldredge noting: “It’s all about that feeling of being in a relationship where you look back and wonder why it didn’t work out. It’s so unique and nostalgic, and it was something we felt was important to be the lead single. It says a lot about what this record is going to be.”
Sunday Drive was recorded in Chicago with Kacey Musgraves’ Grammy-winning Golden Hour producers Ian Fitchuk and Daniel Tashian.
Sunday Drive is released on the 10th of July 2020.
