Music: Jesse McCartney Drops New Single ‘Yours’

After near two decades in the entertainment business, Jesse McCartney continues to release new music seen in brand new single Yours. This marks the thirty-two year old pop star’s first music release since 2018’s standalone singles Better with You and Wasted.

Yours takes an autobiographical tone with McCartney with crooning about being “the face in every bedroom on a poster” a throwback to his days as a member of teen boyband Dream Street. McCartney went on to have a successful solo recording career with albums such as 2004’s Beautiful Soul, 2006’s Right Where You Want Me and 2008’s Departure, all released on Hollywood Records.

McCartney’s most recent full length LP was 2014’s In Technicolor. The singer is toying with releasing Yours as part of an album or an EP, so more music can be expected from the pop heartthrob.
