Thomas Rhett has recruited a plethora of talent for new track Be a Light – in which the proceeds from the song will go the the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund. The ballad was written in 2019 and features Reba McEntire, Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott, Chris Tomlin and Keith Urban.
Be a Light was written by Rhett alongside Josh Miller, Josh Thompson and Matt Dragstrem and focuses on finding positivity in times of hardship. It’s no surprise that this is one of these times where the message of the song is perfectly befitting. MusiCares seeks to benefit artists who are currently out of work due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The track follows the recently released video for Rhett’s tonally different Beer Can’t Fix.
