We can only presume that Josh Hutcherson struck up a friendship with Benicio Del Toro when the pair worked together on the excellent anthology drama 7 Days in Havana. The two stars are reunited for exciting looking crime thriller Paradise Lost.
Set in Colombia, Hutcherson plays a young surfer who meets the woman of his dreams – and then he meets her uncle, Pablo Escobar (Del Toro).
We’re very intrigued by director-writer Andrea Di Stefano’s debut. From the trailer it appears to be a tense ride with Del Toro bringing that dark charisma to the role of Escobar.
Paradise Lost rolls out in Europe November time.
