Liam Payne continues his quest for solo stardom, hoping to achieve his seventh Top 40 hit with Stack It Up featuring American rapper A Boogie wit da Hoodie (us either…). The track was surprise released on September 18th and sees the star flirt with his usual blend of R&B tinged pop.
Stack It Up is penned by Ed Sheeran, Fred Gibson, Julius Dubose and Steve Mac with Mac and Gibson on production duties. The track marks his most impressive release since Strip That Down – although ‘I wanna flex hard like d-o-e, But right now my car need the m-o-t’ most likely isn’t meant to spur a laugh.
If Liam’s stacking it up isn’t your thing, his stripping it down photoshoot with Mert Alas may be. We’ve copied that in after the track.
